What Is Big Gay Family?
Big Gay Family (BGF) is a 12 month gay social program.
BGF started in 2010 as a matchmaking service and since then evolved into a social program with hundreds of members and a comprehensive dating strategy for friendships and relationships.
Grindr, OkCupid, Match.com, and other services do not protect you from men who are operating from their "wounded selves" and who don't know how to communicate, how to date, and how to treat you with respect.
Also, many men who participate in online dating are closeted and on the "down low". To them, you are not a real person.
Today, more than ever, you need a safe, protected, and loving container for friendships and relationships.
Distancing yourself from the toxic experiences of gay dating is the first step in rebuilding your life so that you can spend your energies on real new possibilities instead of on the emotional drama(s) of dating.
What Happens After I Sign Up?
After signing up, you will fill out a questionnaire and schedule your Orientation Calll. During the Orientation Call we will conduct a psychological assessment and discuss your first introduction(s).
What Is (UDP) Universal Dating Protocol?
Universal Dating Protocol (UDP) is a 12 step dating strategy created for the Big Gay Family Social Program. UPD is an emotional and intellectual experience gay men to go through together and in the process create deep and meaningful connections!
How Soon Do I Meet Someone?
Your First Introduction goes out between 7-10 days from the day of signing up. This means that within 2 weeks of signing up you can be interacting with new people and having enjoyable and fulfilling conversations.
Why Long-Term Dating?
We believe a 12-Dates framework is far more effective—a space where you can both feel safe to be your authentic selves. Without the looming fear of abrupt endings, you’ll have the chance to truly see, feel, and experience each other in ways you never have before.
This psychological perspective reveals why most dates fail: they’re constrained by short timeframes and lack a deeper, big-picture understanding of human connection and development.
Where are they located?
Since 2010, we have promoted BGF to all cities - big and small and can satisfy most requests for locations. To accomodate all members, some introductions are local and some introductions are from other cities. We have members who live in remote areas as well as big metropolitan areas. To fully benefit from our UDP methodology, including access to Teams, we mix local and nonlocal members.

Big Gay Family provides a transformative social experience that has been meticulously developed over 10 years. To fully leverage the program’s benefits, participants are asked to commit to at least 12 months. This timeline is critical to allow for meaningful engagement and personal growth.
The core of the program lies in its unique methodology, the Universal Dating Protocol (UDP), which guides participants through the "3 Stages of Connection" with each person they meet. This process fosters deeper interactions and helps deconstruct superficial dynamics.
The ultimate goal of the program is to help you move beyond initial, surface-level responses and stereotypical perceptions rooted in sexual attraction. As you progress to the third level of connection, you’ll develop a more profound awareness of the "true self"—both in yourself and in others.
This journey requires time and consistency. Over the course of 12 months, the program supports you in unlearning limiting beliefs and habitual responses while adopting healthier perspectives and behaviors. This gradual process ensures lasting change and a deeper sense of connection, both within yourself and in your relationships with others.
Our Refund Policy:
Monthly payments do not come with refunds. Yearly 1-pay and Lifetime Membership comes with a 14-Day Full Refund minus 15% refund fee. Once introductions begin, our no-refund policy kicks in. This protects our members from the pain of sudden abandonments, protects our innovative matchmaking system from abuse, and offers a relaxing social space for all participants.
