Paul Angelo is the founder of the Big Gay Family Social Program, a 12-month private community for gay men built on the philosophy of Long-Term Dating.
Founded in 2010 as a matchmaking service, Big Gay Family has evolved into a structured social program that helps gay men move beyond hookup culture, sexual labels, and shallow dating patterns into deeper friendship, trust, and relationship readiness.
At the heart of the program is Paul’s signature methodology: The Universal Dating Protocol, a guided 12-step approach that helps men build connection with clarity, emotional maturity, and accountability.
Paul has created over 1,000 videos on gay sexuality, gay psychology, dating, relationships, trauma, and emotional connection, making his work one of the most extensive educational bodies of content in this field.

Beyond Sexual Persona is a transformational workshop for gay men who are ready to stop reducing themselves — and each other — to sexual labels, roles, preferences, and performances.
Many gay men have been taught to lead with sexual identity: top, bottom, vers, dominant, submissive, kinky, masculine, desirable, unwanted, rejected. Over time, these labels can become more than descriptions. They can become a sexual persona — a protective mask built from trauma, rejection, shame, fantasy, validation-seeking, and the need to survive in a hypersexualized gay culture.
But a sexual persona is not the whole self.
Beneath the labels is a man with emotions, history, longings, wounds, values, fears, spiritual depth, and a real capacity for love. The problem is that many men never learn how to meet from that deeper place. They try to create relationships through sexual chemistry alone, only to repeat the same cycle: attraction, intensity, confusion, disconnection, avoidance, ghosting, and emotional disappointment.
Beyond Sexual Persona helps participants understand why sexual labels often fail to create lasting love — and how to step beneath them into a more integrated way of relating.
In this workshop, participants will explore how sexual personas are formed, why they become so powerful, and how they can block emotional intimacy. They will learn how trauma can shape attraction, how sexual performance can replace authentic identity, and why true relationship requires more than compatibility in bed.
The workshop introduces a deeper model of gay identity: one that includes the body, but does not worship it; one that honors attraction, but does not make it the foundation of love; one that allows a man to be seen as a whole person — not merely as a sexual role.
Participants will be guided through reflection, discussion, and practical exercises designed to help them:
*** Recognize the difference between sexual labels and true identity.
*** Understand how trauma, shame, and rejection can create a sexual persona.
*** Identify where they may be leading with performance instead of authenticity.
*** Step beneath sexual roles into emotional, relational, and spiritual self-awareness.
*** Build the kind of connection that can support trust, commitment, and lasting love.
This workshop is not about denying sexuality. It is about putting sexuality back into its rightful place — as one dimension of a whole human being, not the master identity that controls dating, desire, self-worth, and relationship choices.
Beyond Sexual Persona is for gay men who are tired of being reduced to a role, tired of chasing chemistry that does not become love, and ready to discover a deeper way to meet, choose, and connect.
At its core, this workshop asks one powerful question:
>>> What becomes possible when a gay man stops performing a sexual identity and starts relating from his whole self?
See you in the workshop!
